Terms of Service
Effective: July 30, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your church’s use of Sermon Relay – the website, live translation booth, phone listening for guests, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) – provided by Vladimir Frolov dba Prime Mover (“Sermon Relay,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating a church account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The Service
Sermon Relay provides live sermon translation for churches. Your team connects a microphone, translates the preacher’s speech in real time, and plays spoken translation for visitors — including through wireless receivers or line-out, and optionally through guests’ phones via a join link or QR code (“phone listening”). The Service includes team sign-in, church settings, a translation glossary, and subscription billing per church.
Assistive worship translation — not certified legal or medical interpretation. Output is intended to help guests follow worship, not to replace certified legal, medical, or court interpretation.
Church accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. Each church has its own account and subscription. Church admins invite interpreters and other admins. You are responsible for activity under your team’s accounts and for keeping sign-in links private.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- Violate applicable law or others’ rights
- Access another church’s data or attempt to break platform security
- Interfere with the Service or attempt to obtain translation access without an active subscription
- Resell translation access outside your church’s subscription
Paid subscriptions
Plans, included usage, and overage rates are described on our Pricing section. There is no free trial. Live booth translation and phone listening for a church require an active paid subscription for that church. You may create a church account and invite your team before paying; translation and phone listening remain unavailable until the subscription is active.
If your church purchases a subscription, you provide complete and accurate billing information, including a valid payment method. We automatically charge that payment method on each renewal until your church admin cancels. We add tax when required. If payment fails, we may suspend translation and phone-listening access until payment is received.
We may change subscription prices. If prices rise, we will give at least 30 days’ notice before the new price applies at your next renewal. You may cancel if you do not agree.
Phone listening
With an active subscription, your church may offer live translation to guests on their phones via a join link or QR code. Phone listening is included with every plan. Plan details, free phone-listener hours, and any optional metered usage are on our Pricing page.
Wireless receivers and line-out audio are unlimited and are not counted as phone listening. When a capacity or spend limit applies, new phone joins may pause; guests already listening keep audio. We do not raise limits you set without your action. Church admins manage phone-listening settings in the app. Guest join pages do not show billing information.
Cancellation
Only church admins can cancel that church’s subscription or change billing. Interpreters and other team members cannot cancel on behalf of the church.
Cancel at any time by either method:
- Billing settings – from Manage → Billing in the app, once billing is enabled.
- Email – write to help@sermonrelay.com from your admin email and include your church name.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Your church keeps translation and phone-listening access through the end of the current paid period unless we suspend access earlier for non-payment or a policy violation.
When the paid period ends, new translation sessions and phone listening may be blocked until your church resubscribes. Your glossary, settings, and team list may be kept for up to 90 days, then deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
Church admins can resubscribe anytime from the app or by emailing help@sermonrelay.com. Prior settings may still be available if within our retention period.
Refunds
Your church admin may cancel a paid subscription at any time. However, payments already made are non-refundable, except where required by law.
This applies to monthly and annual subscription fees and to usage charges once invoiced or collected (including any overage billed under your plan). Canceling stops future charges. It does not refund the current or any prior billing period.
If you end your subscription or close your church account, you are not entitled to a refund for unused time, unused included usage, or prepaid periods, except where required by law.
If we decide to discontinue the Service, we will provide reasonable notice and any applicable refund for prepaid, unused services, as required by law or as we determine appropriate.
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact help@sermonrelay.com before disputing with your bank. Include your church name and the invoice date. We will review your usage records and respond within a reasonable time.
Third-party services
Live translation and billing rely on third-party providers. Their availability may affect the Service. Your use may also be subject to their terms.
Your content
Your church keeps ownership of sermon content and materials you provide. You grant us the rights needed to run translation – processing audio and settings you submit.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TRANSLATION MAY BE INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE. YOUR CHURCH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW TRANSLATED OUTPUT IS USED IN WORSHIP.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERMON RELAY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF WHAT YOUR CHURCH PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Ending the Service
Your church may stop using Sermon Relay at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached, if required by law, or if continued use poses risk. Upon termination, you are not entitled to a refund except where required by law. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide notice and any applicable refund for prepaid, unused services.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
